Garajonay National Park

Garajonay National Park is on La Gomera, not Tenerife, but it often comes up in Tenerife trip planning because the neighboring island is easy to reach by ferry from Los Cristianos. If you are already thinking about a La Gomera day trip or overnight, Garajonay is one of the strongest reasons to go.
The park is known for its laurel forest, cloud-washed mountain atmosphere and walking routes through one of the Canary Islands’ most distinctive landscapes. It offers a greener, more enclosed mountain world than most of Tenerife.
